Blogsite server was down

Posted in From Al & Libbie, Updates at 9:19 am by Al

On Tuesday morning the computer that served our blogsite suddenly developed technical problems that took it off line until this morning (Friday, June 16, 2006). Sorry about the trouble you had in accessing the site.

I will be posting something on Becky’s graduation soon.

Prayer request: We meet with our oncologist this afternoon to see what future treatments are feasible. Pray for wisdom and guidance. We don’t really know what’s open to us at this point.

Blessings, Al

Life since graduation has been a whirlwind of trying to get packed and moved to Dallas. But since graduation,I have wanted to say that your address took me back to the days of our mini church in your living room. And having your foot propped up actually made it seem all the more like the fatherly talk that it was. It was a blessing and an encouragement to Adrian and I.
We went to WTS to Adrian’s new office yesterday. We feel blessed, and very excited to be a part of what WTS is doing here. As I tucked Emma in last night (in Dallas, TX!!) we prayed for your appointment today. We are also praying and scheming on Becky’s behalf.
We love you. Dawn, Adrian and Emma

    Al and Libby,
I have also thought of our mini church many times as I have read your blogs. Sitting in your home under your and Libby’s care is a blessed memory for me. So much of what I gleened from you both was not just in what you said, but in observing how you lived…and what you left unsaid. The grace, wisdom and loving kindness (and did I say patience?) which you led me and the group with forever impacted me. (I’m still working on the “changing” part) It gave me depth of insight and experience into what the “love of God” feels like and what biblical fellowship should look like. Thank you dear brother and sister.
We continue to pray in faith for you and your beloved children.
May He be your strength when you are weak,
May He be the treasure you continue to seek,
May He be your All in All this day, and all of your tomorrows.
    Much love, Jennifer
