This came as a postcard from the mother of the family that Alden is staying with
in Spain. Pretty cool, huh?

What a great picture, Libbie! Thinking of you and the rest of the family too. Alden is going to have so much to talk to you about when he gets back.
    Love to you

    Oh delightful! Very cool indeed!
Isn’t it such a blessing when our children have these amazing opportunities, and we get pictures to document their adventures!?!
The water and sky look so clear and blue. So, are they reallllly there? or are they standing in front of some cardboard scenery!! Incredible.
    Thanks for sharing 🙂

It’s my observation that God’s designed the sun and sand and good friends to work in combo to bring refreshment and restoration. I think many of us can attest to this in our own lives. And Alden’s face seems to say it is true for him as well. What a great opportunity! Thanks for sharing the photo–it says volumes and evokes our own private memories of times spent in leisure by great expanses of water with the friends God provides.

You must know how much joy and pleasure it brings me to hear of all the purging and organizing you are doing! And to have Jayne there with you makes me want to be there with you all the more!
I was struck by your thought, “He sees the bigger picture and knows how it all fits together, and I am content to trust that to him and to rest in his care.”
What a gift. A God-born ablility to rest in him and cast your cares on him no doubt.
Thank you for sharing your heart and life. I miss you and long to be with you. Jen
