Al is 54 today!

Back in January and February when we first learned about Al’s melanoma, we never expected that he would still be with us to celebrate this day.

Join us in rejoicing!!

Happy Birthday Al -Greetings Libbie and Family-

Wow these numbers (52.. 53..54 make absolutely no sense to me!?!)

We are both in the living room doing some internet Christmas chores, and stopped to check in on you. Thank you both for the blog and the updates, the ways to stay up with events and know how to pray. You are on and in our hearts. We wish we still lived in Erdenheim and could just come over and be with you.

    Love You & Peace
Tom, Jeannie (& Ryan, Lindsay and Craig)

If only I had known! Happy, happy birthday!
And only 54? I had you pegged as my much, much older brother (I am pushing 51 pretty hard, myself).
What a treat to have your birthday fall on the Lord’ Day.
I hope you are all enjoying it like crazy.

I continue to bring you before the Lord, and to remember you as I am preaching from the Psalms this year.
Today we made our way through Psalm 24.
Jesus is the King of Glory, Yahweh in the flesh, who alone has clean hands and a pure heart, and can ascend the holy hill, seeking God as True Jacob. MIghty n battle, he comes to possess his city victorious over sin and death. He brings us to God, and God to us, and we lift up our heads to receive him.

May you be refreshed in his presence today, and tomorow, and on the day you meet him face to face.

    Yours for Jesus’ sake,

    Happy Birthday Al!

And I thought I was always older than you! I should have realized though, that you were always the wise one! I hope I make 54!

You have a wonderful wife and family. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

My thoughts and prayers are with you always!

    A friend forever!

    Happy birthday, Al!

So we are the same age (well, I am a few weeks older, but who’s counting).

It was a most pleasant surprise to see you today; may Advent joys fill your heart and home, and may this new year bring us all cause to rejoice in the Lord’s goodness and grace.

Happy Belated Birthday, Al! I’ll be singing “Happy Birthday” to you over the distance. Well, since it’s you, I might sing something about a pe-nun verb being very sly… but you get the gist!

I was so hoping to speak with you at the board meeting, but with all the stuff that surrounds those meetings I didn’t get to come over. So sorry about that.

We love you guys–and you are in our (and our congregation’s) prayers.

If the bible were written today, it would surely mention you and your faith to be an encouragment to others. Happy Birthday dear friend. Know that you are a blessing to me and many others. If I can do half of what you have done, my life would be a great sucess.

Now go out and celebrate like a mad man! LOL

I had not realized that you had the same birthdate as my wife (Inyange) and our firstborn son (Timothée). I only wish I had known that before the birthday came and not a month later… Anyway, we rejoice with you for one more birthday. May the Lord continue to bless you all in and through these difficult circumstances, and may His glory continue to shine on and out of your life, faith and testimony!
    Our Christian love to you,

    The Pardigons.

PS: We are overjoyed by WTS’s decision to rename the Hebrew Institute in your honor. That is only deserved (in God’s grace-centered economy, of course ;-)) and right.
